Riverside Resources are a prospect generator company operating in Canada and Mexico with a history of discovery and a diverse portfolio of gold, silver, and copper projects. They advance projects through strategic partnerships, such as their partner-funded Los Cuarentas gold-silver project in Mexico, and Joint Venture. Combining their experienced team and extensive mineral location and field database, Riverside aim to uncover opportunities that may otherwise be overlooked. The company aim to use environmentally friendly techniques and employ local labour where possible, which provides training and education and therefore economically sustainable benefits for the community. They further contribute to communities in which they operate by donating to a number of local charities that provide rural education, opportunities for impoverished and vulnerable children in Mexico and Canada, and healthcare.
Riverside’s Mexican projects are located across the Sinaloa and Sonora regions of northwest Mexico. In Sonora they are targeting the orogenic gold deposits of the Sonora Megashear Gold Belt as well as a copper-gold porphyry system in the Laramide copper belt. Just south of Sonora in Sinaloa, they are targeting a low sulphidation epithermal gold-silver system. Much further north in Ontario, Canada, Riverside have a portfolio of 4 projects prospective for shear-hosted orogenic gold in the Beardmore-Geraldstone Greenstone Belt and High Lake Greenstone Belt. These properties have been subject to an effective but low-cost exploration strategy thus far, reviewing historic data and carrying out sampling to delineate areas of interest for more intensive exploration. They have a further 4 partner-funded exploration programs distributed across northwest Mexico and in Arizona. The Cuarentas project, Sonora, has exploration funded for 5 years by Hochschild Mining and is prospective for high-grade low sulphidation epithermal gold-silver mineralisation. Strong Induced Polarisation indicators have been used to inform an initial 2,000m diamond drill program, and the company cite the project as a key value driver for 2021.
